This will help answer half our problems. Centre clearance player is what we need. Get Lennon into defence and Martin up forward. Pity Jacko retired so young. The more big bodies in the middle the better

No harm in trying a bit of trial an error, at least for periods in the game.

Not sure what the story is here or the background regarding where he was playing in the reserves. I would throw him in there, tell him to have a crack and see what happens for a little while at least.

Start him against weaker opposition in the guts as an insurance policy for those ultra conservative types

don't know guys ive lost faith in a lot of the players atm as they seem to mostly pretty well slipped from when we first got them,
We need new ideas so trying to be creative would be better than doing the same old stuff.
i worry about his tank more than speed bc jacko had the tank to do his job effectively.i don't know if any of the guys had the heart and desire that Jacko had.
Always played for the jumper and gave 110%.only if some of the guys picked up his leadership traits.An educated gentleman too and was smart and graceful enough to say his time was up

Thanks for reminding me at how much we miss jackson after he retired too early. Still havent solved that problem. Which is another reason we are shite in the middle at the moment.

Same old story club doesn't plan to replace future needs instead they downgrade

Lennon cant defend like Vlas, but will give you Lids. It them comes down to who takes his place and they still need to defend in the fwd half which we are shite at. We need both things fixed.

Lids is needed forward of center, Its where he plays his most damaging footy for the team.

Great idea to put Vlas in the guts.... but in a pinch-hitting role until he builds a bigger tank.... We need bigger bodies in there. Means Morris/Newy have to play back to cover him when he is in there.

I agree with our current game style , win clearances go backwards to get space and then attack. I say we change style and go forward directly from clearnaces , therefore hunt , Houli , Batchellor , grimes , Rance etc etc should be more than sufficient .

10 touches on Friday night. it's not enough from a high pick. he needs to be able to show his wares in the midfield. The flair is being coached out of him. That game (his first or second) against melbourne when he handballed to Ty and got the ball back, took a bounce and delivered to JR in his left foot, I thought we had something special.
But the flair is being slowly eradicated from him.
