Yes, that 12pm timeslot was great, there was nothing else like this on 5 channel telly growing up. School holidays, sick days, later work lunch hours, made good viewing. Of its time but iconic and gave that audience what they wanted.

The Jerry Springer Show did use actors to play these loser/degenerate guests many times, and it was dishonest not to make that known at the time. But it was still an enjoyable low-brow show.
