Can someone please remind me of the lineup?

Collectively George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne all played as the Wibury's at some stage, I just cant remember who were the original 4 ATM. There might have been someone I'm forgetting in the second version of the band.

I was talking to a mate who runs a music store in my town and asked him what the chances of The Travelling Wilbury's 2 albums being re-released on CD, especially after George Harrisons passing and he said he had talked to a rep about that same thing. He was told it will never happen as it was a condition of Roy Orbison's will that the Wilbury's stuff was never to be released on CD, don't ask me why. Hope it's crap because I'd love to get a hold of a copy now.

I have both albums on CD, are you sure that is correct?

George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan were the original Traveling Wilburys. There first album called Travelling Wilburys featured all 5 guys. Roy Orbison died before the band could release another album but the remaining four went ahead and released a second album cheekily called Volume 3.

They were a top band.

I've been looking all over for a mention of them as a cd release, online, through record stores, swaps, everwhere I've looked there's never been a mention of them being released on CD and even the back catalogue cassettes aren't available. How did you find them, BB?

I thought 3 in the original line up were, Kris Kristofferson (SP), Willie Nelson & Waylon Jennings, who no one has mentioned.

OOPs wrong band & I was just about to add Johnny, LOL

Didn't think the people in The Highwaymen would be popular with many people on BF, I myself really like them and yes I do have their first album.

The Highwaymen??? I cant say i have heard of them, single performers on there own i have. But isnt Kris Kristofferson now an actor. He was in Blade?

I think he does acting now, I also think he had a kid with Cher & they named him Elijah Blue.

I have them both on CD as well Hippie. Both years old now, can't specifically remember buying them so I'd say I just walked in and bought them off the street at the time. Good luck!
