Attention all. What is the correct term for that magical beverage you take with you for comfort on the long journey home from the pub or some other event. Many seem to call it a roadie, but I believe the correct term is traveller as your travel home often takes you on paths other than the road.

So what's the consensus? Traveller or roadie? Please state where you live as well so I know whether it's a State specific thing.

Traveller amongst my mates and I. Tassie.

Traveller, I've never heard 'roadie' used in this context. After voting in this poll i did a double take because i'd just posted about my alcoholic tendencies in another thread and was concerned i'd overzealously answered "traveller" to the question "who carries the band's gear on their tours"

roadie... wtf?

As soon as I saw the thread title my first thought was what a great way to see the world and get paid at the same time, become a roadie for U2 or something.

Imagine my disappointment.....

(Would be a cool job if you could get it)

we call it a roadie in WA. the word traveller just doesn't flow like roadie..
