We all know the Dons will be last.
They've stated its on the table, what would you give up for it?

Much like St Kilda before they took McCartin, I can't see anyone offering Essendon enough to make it worth their while. The sole exception is if Essendon is only looking for multiple first round picks (no players), in which case the Gold Coast or GWS might be interested.

Yes but they will probably just be looking for the higher points value of picks for their academy kids

Essendon should keep it and unless they receive an amazing offer i'm sure that's what they will do.

They need a positive news story after what they've been through and giving their fans the no.1 pick will help ease the pain a bit.

GC definitely has more than enough points for their academy kids. I'm not sure how many GWS actually plan on taking, so not as certain there.

Lachie Neale or Jonathon Patton
Patton would have to come with another high selection or talented player.
Think the Giants still have high hopes for him especially when they lose McCarthy

Carlton dont have enough to offer,

But if you are Freo would Lachie Neale + 2017 first round pick get the job done.

I reckon Freo would back themselves in with McCarthy and the return of there injured players to finish a lot higher than that, risky strategy that might pay off.

What about Prestia & GCS 2016 2nd round pick..
Crap sorry thought u meant this years
Yea next year in the mix for finals

Jake Stringer, straight swap. Yay or nay?
There is no way in hell we'd do it. It would be like you trading Cameron or Melbourne trading Hogan. You want your #1 pick to be what Stringer is.

Neales name keeps being floated around this place.
Do Freo reckon there fine without him next year?

I don't think we will be fine with or without him next year to TBH we will likely finish out of the 8. But we have larger holes to fill then inside midfielder. We need two good key forward's (Which would allow Fyfe to play full time midfield) and ATM Neale is our only trade-able player that hold's a high enough currency.
