It is hard to believe that Tony Lynn 15 will play his 50th game of Qootball this weekend. Many of you are no doubt thinking this is a typo, surely he has played more games than 50?

How could someone cram so much success into so few games? Was he sent from some far off planet of smoking hot looks and over achievers?

So on the eve of his 50th game please feel free to share your special memories of TL15 and his magnificent career in the SFA.

Thanks Yakker for sharing that wonderful memory of TL15. It is certainly one that I remember fondly.

Anytime mate. You are the best Qooty player in the league who is playing their 50th this weekend. If I wasn't so busy heading up the committee for #TheMarchto300 I may have had time to recognise such a moment in the game as yours. Good luck on Sunday and stay classy champ :D

And if someone could create a 3rd person ******* of the week award, you're a shoe in.

I think you've just out-Jaded Jade

Mate don't be too harsh on Jade. He is just a young Qootballer trying to make his way in the SFA. He has a long way to go to get to Tony Lynn 15's level.

Worst opponent I've ever had in a Grand Final

Thanks so much for sharing that wonderful and personal memory that you have of that incredible day Loonerty.....and for giving me the chance to post this!

Loonerty 0 9 10 16 3 1 1 0 0 99 Tony Lynn 0 25 8 12 3 0 3 4 1 151

Who even does that in a Grand Final!!!!

Ah yes.. I still remember the day I first met TL15.

It was a hot, humid day in downtown Baghdad. I was doing my usual Monday morning cash collection from my fifteen 7/11stores and had just handed out a beating to one of my Yemeni workers who dared to question me over the $8.15 I paid him for his week's work.
Anyway, I thought I'd grab a couple of things for home

And was heading to the counter when I saw him. He looked confident and strong. The sort of man who I thought could one day dominate a Grand Final off his own back.

So I introduced myself and he responded that he obviously already knew who I was..i asked him if wanted to be a Qootball star like me.
He dropped to his knees and begged me to give him the opportunity to be a star like myself.
I told him it was going to take hard work and dedication as his fitness and physique needed much work. I introduced him to the KohPhi Pre Season Training Protocol ® and within 3 weeks, he was already making steady progress..

Anyway, the rest is history.. Premiership teammates, and more importantly, brothers in arms.

KohPhi you have been a wonderful mentor and even though I am slowly over taking you in the popularity stakes I will always remember the private tutelage you gave me in the early days. Some of your techniques were unconventional and in many countries illegal but I will be forever sore and grateful!

I will happily pass over the baton as 'Qootball's Most Loved Player' to you my friend.

I, for one, am deeply worried about Uncle Tony's cholesterol levels given his deep fried paleo diet.

KohPhi, please put him on a strict plan on kale, quinoa, and assorted veg. He's not going to make it to game 60 otherwise...

Oh, where do I start???

The greatest grand final performance in the history of the world? The most successful media thread in the history of the internet? The dominance, week in week out, of opponent after poor unfortunate opponent? The conquering of an endless array of lingerie models? The man is like some kind of demigod, winged, hugely endowed, mythical prince...

I remember the first time I met the great TL15...

He was a young, first class passenger on a luxurious unsinkable cruise liner.

I was a carefree, penniless, artist, travelling in third class quarters near the cargo hold.

Our tentative friendship and subsequent bond was formed over a party in third class.

After a secret rendezvous on the bow of the ship, at sunset, TL15 made me feel like “the king of the world”.

I had to draw him! Tony posed for me. His magnificent, naked body was even more majestic than the “Heart of the Ocean” necklace that adorned his breathtaking chest.

The ship collided with what seemed to be some kind of iceberg, and began to sink. As we plunged into the icy cold water, TL15 sacrificed himself to get me to safety.

I’ll never forget the words he whispered though his blue, frozen lips...

“You’re going to get out of this, Coach, you’re going to go on and you’re going to make babies and watch them grow and you’re going to die an old man, warm in your bed. Not here...Not this night. Do you understand me?”

Tony Lynn 15, you’re a man amongst men. A champion on, and off, the qooty field. Congratulations on your 50th game and your success thus far. I have no doubt there is plenty more, of both, to come.
