No he is not worth 1.7 mill, however the Saints aren't parasite clubs that get free NGA's while other teams don't or have the AFL give Ben King 1.5 million in Ambassador money outside the cap to stop him going back to the Saints.
Due to your daddy, the AFL skewing the playing field to benefit 'expansion' clubs, teams like the Saints have to find other ways to get players to compete, not just get them handed to them year in year out.

Thanks for correction. I did not ask for your explanation why Saints supposedly offered him 1.7M. I just stated my view that Cameron handily beat him tonight and that he is not worth the offer at the moment. Who knows he may deliver down the track. Good luck to you and Saints.

The loose footing in the wet seemed to really stifle TDK's follow up game. Was far less involve once the ball hit the deck than previous weeks from what I watched. Cameron seemed far more influential overall.

We nuked the joint the last two years trying to find money to pay 7 players.
It's left us in the position we are now. I don't know if there is something more powerful than a nuke, but I'm sure Vossy will 'leave no stone unturned' to figure out what it is.

Just tell whichever cronies in Austins team you have connections with to trade out some of these overpaid hacks to get Rory Wright and Josh Lindsay in the door. Don't think I can watch too many more seasons without 1 elite kick on the list capable of rolling up the field.
