Next up we have a new award making it's debut here in the third annual TiF Awards ceremony, as this poster has set himself apart in a league of his own with this important and extremely impactful change in 2024.

No, it's not damicky's completely underwhelming Remy the Rat avatar, but his new teammate serial_thrilla, whose entirely obnoxious, smug and w**kerish avatar now perfectly fits his demeanour.

As far as insufferable flogs come, they don't come much bigger than thrilla. And with an avatar of a total knob jockey doing spins and clapping himself with a shit eating grin, he has absolutely nailed the brief.

Now one of my favourite characters around this joint, congratulations thrilla. You've earned this one.

Cadsky (Royals)

Staying with the Royals, as we look to crown the best captain fail of the year for a deserving winner, now former Royals skipper Cadsky.

After what amounted to a fair melt (I'm sure there were reasons, but let's go with melt) after a mild punishment, having seen another skipper (tony) escape sanction for pretty much the exact same thing, Cadsky melted his way out of committee and out of the leadership. For all of 24 hours, before coming slinking back to the backbench at the Royals where he now probably heckles from the cheap seats.

After many seasons including successful stints at the Wonders & Royals, this was an enjoyable captain fail and one deserving of this fine recognition.

Congratulations Cadsky!!

Having left me on read in our PM since 2020, this bloke made one of the more miraculously rises from the dead I've ever witnessed in the Sweet FA, resurfacing after a 9 season hiatus to recapture some of his superb media form and barely skip a beat having easily adapted to his new digs at the Snow Dome. In Season 38, tgrs made the sort of return that even Sam Malone himself would admire.

From his quality contributions in match threads, to exhuming his stellar Qhampion Data piece, tgrs has been a much beloved contributor in Season 38 and the competition is far better for having him.

Welcome back, tiggers.

From the veterans now onto the rookies, and we have a unanimous winner up next who has absolutely smoked the field to win it in a canter.

Having unleashed something in the vicinity of 400+ odd posts in their first week of Sweet FA, then immediately retiring, returning and then denying retiring, you will have to produce a fairly significant dossier of evidence to convince me they aren't kananooks reincarnate.

Now as you know, I'm not one to go hard on rookies because they should be seen and not heard, but I have to make an exception with Raz. Largely because he's probably the only rookie I even know this season.

Having been on the opposing side of that initial barrage, he pretty much sealed the deal all the way back in Round 1.

Congratulations Raz, a fine season much deserving of this well earned recognition. Go well.
