Not sure I like that, imagine the Celtics for example go on to win 65 games and don’t have home court and the thunder do who win 55 for example just because of an All star game.

Win the All Star game then, you will have players in it. Prepare and make sure your conference wins

Anyway, take the good call. NBA calls are swings and roundabouts. Some times it works for you, some times it doesn't.

Over the last couple of decades often there's inflated records for the top East teams because they feast on a shitty conference while the West often goes 10 or 11 decent teams deep. The top team then normally get round one off because they're playing a team that has a losing record. They then get home court against the West team who has played a lot more games against better teams and had a fight since round one in the playoffs. The argument is often that this is unfair.
