They usually don't film this sort of thing in one shot (eg Birdman and 1917) so I was looking for how they might have stitched it together. I didn't see any of the usual tricks so maybe it was the real thing. Either way I was blown away by what they achieved technically. You have to get everything right - camera angles, focus, sound, lighting, movements of dozens of extras.


That's before you get to the actors getting it spot on. We have come to expect this level of excellence from Stephen Graham but everyone else stepped up. The scene between the boy and the psychologist was tense!
