It's a massive massive dilemma the club now faces. Darcy, Naughton & Weightman is more than enough goal scoring and marking power especially when you throw the development of Croft into the mix.


If we had traded him last offseason for 2 first round picks, imagine the position we would be currently in. Plenty of currency to throw at an elite mid target, an extra $800-900k in cap space and no distractions for the club. It would have been a short term shock but very much in favour of the club long term.


Even if Jamarra somehow got back into the senior side, there's a genuine question on whether he actually makes us a better side with all of the other moving parts around him. It's an opportunity cost situation. Every time we target Jamarra is one less time that Darcy, Naughton or Weightman are targeted. There's only so much ball to go around and I see zero benefit in having $3 million+ invested in 3 tall forwards.
