Brenton Davy
Davy seems to have come out of nowhere to draw level with Sausageroll and DenieD right at the tail end of the season. A massive 19 goals in his last 3 matches (including a 9 goal and 7 goal game) has put Davy in the perfect position to claim his very first piece of silverware in Sweet-FA. Brenton will hope his form continues through the next fortnight as he comes up against some of the toughest teams to score against this season.

Away @ Gumbies (#4 hardest to score against)
Home vs Old Boys (#1 hardest to score against)
Away @ Furies (#6 easiest to score against)
Travelling to Gumbies is one of the hardest road games in Sweet-FA. The reigning premiers have been stingy in their defence all season, making it hard for any full forward to kick a bag.
Old Boys are the hardest team to score against this season, giving up only 96.5 points per game. Davy will have to pull out all the moves to get a decent goal tally in this game.
The final game against Furies will be a little easier compared to the previous two matches as Furies give up the 6th most points per game (111 points per game). Davy might need to put in a big performance here depending on how the other games go.
Davy has the hardest run home of the three favourites, but if he continues his great form from the last 3 rounds he will be in with a real shot at the FRED.
DenieD
The reigning FRED medallist has put together another incredible season at full forward. He has taken his game up a notch lately, kicking 16 goals in his last 3 matches to draw level at the top of the leaderboard. He is seeking back-to-back FRED Medals for the first time since Mooch did it back in season 28 and 29.

Home vs Demons (#2 easiest to score against)
Away @ Bombers (#4 easiest to score against)
Home vs Old Boys (#1 hardest to score against)
Both Wonders and Demons love to play fast free flowing qooty so the game will almost certainly be a shootout between the full forwards. Whoever wins that could very well go on to win the FRED. A massive friday night game this weekend.
Bottom of the ladder Bombers give up a lot of goal this season (18.8 goals per game), so DenieD should have a field day against a team that will be out of finals contention.
The final game will be the hardest by far. Old Boys give up the least amount of goals per game this season (approximately 16 goals per game) and they will be fighting for top spot on the ladder.
Two good match-ups then one really difficult one. DenieD will hope to be a few goals ahead before the final round, as that last game may prove to be tricky to put up a good number of goals.
Sausageroll started the season incredibly strong with 21 goals in the first 3 games to grow a commanding lead in the FRED medal. But after only 8 goals in the last 3 games (including kicking only one solitary goal in two of those matches) the rest of the pack has caught up.

Home vs Warriors (#7 hardest to score against)
The Wonders game is looking to be a good old shootout scoring fest. Whichever full forward comes out on top might end up winning the FRED. Expect an exciting friday night contest between the two full forwards tomorrow night.
Hawks and Warriors at home in the final two games will be on the easier end of opponents compared to the other FRED contenders, but they certainly aren’t walk overs.
Sausageroll has had a dip in form lately and will be hoping to reclaim some of that early season spark in order to run away with the FRED from here.
It is unlikely that anyone 5+ goals back would be able to grab the FRED from here, but you never know. Cap or Tarks would need at least one 10+ goal game and a couple of very decent showings to steal it away from the favourites. Don't count them out just yet.
9 goals behind with just 3 games to go. It would be a miracle. Okey would need to smash out multiple 10+ goal games and even then would still probably miss out if any of the top 3 do similarly in the run home. But if anyone could do it, the fastest player to reach 1000 goals could.
