It’s fitting that the week the godfather of Qooty, the centre piece of this league, plays his 500th that the man arguably responsible for the juicy stuff like media, rivalries and storylines, plays his 300th. Two of the most influential members of the league

Joining the league in Season 16, Filth has gone on to be one of the top 3 posters from that season, behind Uncle_Leo of course. Remembered for various reasons and events across the League, with his involvement with the leagues boogeymen the BC (BiCurious), wrestling story lines, admin reign and ‘Dad of the committee room’ being some of the more notable Filth moments, there isn’t a single person in the league that doesn’t feel strongly, in a negative or positive manner, about Filth.

I haven’t been around long enough to fully appreciate the past glories, or recall them in detail enough to comment on them, so I have enlisted the help of some friends and foes to share some words, and for some reason photos for this momentous occasion!

Is that this week? You realise Mobbs is playing his 500th this week, right? Do the right thing by Filthy and drop him this week so he has next week all to himself.

I have absolutely no interest. I am sick and tired of having to give kind words to people for a fake achievement. Do you think I care as much about your milestone as you do? Just because you let some useless sim blow hundreds of games on your resume. Well done, merry ******* 300th.

You're not even my favourite brother. Or mums favourite son. I asked mum and dad how they felt about you being 40 and 300 games and they have actually disowned you. Never wanted a brother that old.

During the leadup to his 300th game, I hope The Filth Wizard takes the time to reflect on life and his journey so far. To consider who he is and how he got here.

I’d particularly like him to reflect on why he thought it was a good idea to recruit someone who says they ‘don’t get Bruce Springsteen’ but who is a fan of Billy Joel.

And then I’d like him to make me a sandwich.

And after that I will pass on my wholehearted congratulations to him; such a dear friend of mine he is.

Well it was Blacky that recruited me but it was TFW who took me off the season 25 AA wing and put me in the ruck

For all of that TFW has done a wonderful job steering the Royals off the edge of the cliff and into relevance again. As a powerhouse club of the compet - wait we are 0-3? (I blame Bangers for that)

He has encouraged , threatened and bribed us all to perform in match threads and when it counts on the field.

I am very happy he joins the 301 club and I look forward 300 more

Kabul, 2003. I first met The Filth Wizard on my second tour of Afghanistan. He pulled me from the rubble after an IED took out our Humvee. He saved my ass many times. We've been buddies ever since.

In all honesty, I am going to save my most tender thoughts and feelings about Filthy for his 500th.

500 games, boy - now there's a real milestone.

Like an abused housewife I seem to keep coming back to The Filth Wizard

Whether it was destroying my soul with the nWo, burning me by not nomming me for All Sweet-FA despite my 3rd place finish in the Mobbs or refusing to give up Full Forward this season, Filth continues to bring me down.

And yet, we've both celebrated our 300th game in the same team in the same season. In fact, I think over a third of my career has been spent with him as my self-absorbed captain. And I've enjoyed almost more than 50% of that time with him.

Anyway, congrats on that thing you did and hopefully on gameday you shine more than the sun off your fivehead and we get the win.

In hindsight, the words you gave me for my 300th seemed a lot more heartfelt and emotional. I'm not going to lie, I'm okay with my effort.

I've pumped this bloke up about 300 times, I am not sure how much more pump there is left.

Congratulations to my good friend and league champion, The Filth Wizard, on his 300th Sweet F.A match. This should be a time of great joy, happiness, and celebration, for this is a remarkable effort. He will become the fourth player to 300 matches in the period dating Season 16 - 32. 37 of which I had the great honour of being his teammate in. The Filth Wizard was pencilled in as a Sweet F.A legend well before any of his previous milestones and does not appear to be slowing down.

Unfortunately for The Filth Wizard, it is not all good news. As he looks to climb the games played leader-board over the coming seasons, so long as he and fellow champion spookism are on the same list and active, they will climb it together, but he will always be one position and 4 games below spook. Go spook!

I’m proud of The Filth Wizard for taking a long walk down a short 300 games.

I’ll never forget the kind words he said for me in my 150th. Best mates since primary school and now teammates.

I would've already played 300 and had a premiership if it wasn't for this prick. He brought me back to the Dragons, dropped me, then left the club. Then, for a change of pace, he recruited me to the Hawks, then left the club. So for the last 5 seasons, I've been forced into ignoring every recruitment PM because I'm so worried about Filthy leaving another club in the sh*t with me at it.

The Filth Wizard is a giant of the league with one of the most decorated careers of anyone in the history of the SFA and a certainty to end up immortalised. His record speaks for itself as an admin, two-time Beez winner, 14-time All-SFA, former admin, hall of famer, Fred Medallist, the list goes on...

But just in case anyone needs reminder on his extraordinary legacy on the league let's quickly go through his greatest feats.

• As admin, in S21 he randomly locked a bunch of match threads because they were posted too early for his liking forcing people to wait to post in match threads for no reason.
• He introduced a new competition in the Sweet Provincial Championships in the off-season to revive representative Qooty! A roaring success!
• He is so keen to shoulder responsibility that he is the only admin to be a captain and admin at the same time! At a time when captains need to be unanimous to remove an admin, this move made it impossible for troglodytes like ClarkeM to lead a secret vote against Filth. He's a true political genius.
• Immediately after stepping down as admin, Filth won the Season 24 Beez Trophy for his outstanding contribution of one media thread and a full season of shitfighting with the Baghdad Bombers.
• The Filth Wizard is the record-holder by long stretch for total selections in the All-SFA because he ALWAYS plays in the best on-field positions because he is best posting contributor according to the captain of the team he's playing in - more often than not himself.
• If you ask him, one of his proudest achievements would be his role in rebuilding struggling clubs. This often involves him taking over the captaincy a club, taking a bunch of mates with him. And then bringing in a flurry of rookies and other club's up and comers two seasons later when his original recruits all go inactive.
• There is no greater success story than the East Side Hawks! The Filth Wizard around S25 recruited a number of players who would form the next LG of the side and lead the club into the future! A future that brings us the East Side PHOENIX! What a compelling legacy!
• And to think he achieved all of the above without even knowing how to attach images properly. Or operate an excel sheet for 15 seasons.

As you can see, it is obviously indisputable that The Filth Wizard's contributions to the league have dramatically bettered everyone's experience. He is a trailblazer who set the example for many notable personalities to follow. He's the JoshWoodenSpoon before the SFA got JoshWoodenSpoon, the Ant Bear before the SFA got Ant Bear, the NaturalDisaster before the SFA got NaturalDisaster. A universally-revered figure with a legacy that is firmly woven into the fabric of the SFA itself.

I would have very kind words like "you are a great friend and it's been great to be a teammate and opponent of yours through the seasons" but after reading the horrendous rap sheet Kennedy Parker has produced, I choose not to comment as I do not wish to promote those actions.

Yeah, Filthy is ok.

I entered the league many seasons ago as a bright eyed man of colour just looking for a place to partake in some harmless banter with fellow waifu pillow enthusiasts. My first port of call was a match thread for the rats and i had absolutely zero idea what i was doing, So i asked ant bear to give me a basic run down of who was who in the league. I was totally overwhelmed and basically just ended up calling everyone a pedo. Which caught the eye of a certain admin at the time who slid into my dm's quicker than Noobz0r on the auskick forum. Filth was certain i was a former poster posting under an alias and continued to harass me via DM day after day until he finally acknowledged that i actually was making my "debut" in the SFA. Fast forward a few rounds later and much to my shock i was given a card for making somewhat off handed remarks in a match thread. Which made me question where the line was and how far i had "stepped" over it. So i decided to check in on another match thread and noticed none other than the filth wizard posting questionable content regarding our friends over in the Far East. So i decided to hit him up and ask what was different between that and what i had posted. He was steadfast in his defense claiming that there was nothing wrong with a gif of Krusty the Clown making "asian eyes" so we went at it back and forth in PM until the leader of the league conceded defeat and had nothing other than kissy faces to send me. It was at that point I knew i had him. He's an absolute legend of the league and someone the current Admin should go well out of his way to try and emulate. Congratulations Filthy on 300 SFA games, few have impacted the game like you have over the past 20 plus years of the Sweet FA.

You are the Michael Jordan of our sport, in that I can imagine you taking the money of weird looking troglodytes with rigged games of skill and playing while on your death bed before daring to surrender the limelight at full forward to someone like spookism. I also imagine you quietly targeting people to destroy for looking at you funny in restaurants and for not shaking your hands on the field after games or for not praising you sufficiently in milestone threads.

That said, you're one of the all time greats if not the greatest to ever play our game, you're a great mentor and one of the sharpest minds in the league behind the scenes, you continue to set the standard for other leaders in the competition and show a keen interest and benevolence towards newcomers to the Sweet FA each season, even if it's primarily to poach them from their unsuspecting clubs and pad your own list.

Congrats The Filth Wizard on 300 games! It is thanks to you (and BRAB for the initial nudge) that I joined the league in the first place. I had no idea what the **** was going on and you didn't really help explain this place, but maybe I'm glad you didn't. Even if it meant that I tried to post as much as I could in my first match thread because I thought the more you posted, the more the Sim liked you! Well, was I going to learn a very big lesson.... And you allowed it to happen you old campaigner.
In all seriousness, was great to have you as my first Captain and always enjoy the banter with you. Plus, your taste in music is alright.
