Tutorial The Bézier Game

For those looking to master the pen tool on Adobe Illustrator, this has proven invaluable for me in learning curves and angles by tracing relatively simple shapes. This 'game' is a fun and simplistic way of learning the pen tool and it relies on repetition for you to hone your skills.

Try and see how many nodes you can use to trace the car (the first shape after the tutorials); I completed it using 13 out of the 15 available nodes but I bet some of the AI gurus on here can do it with even fewer.

I haven't had a look at it but when it sounds like a great idea.
In terms of advice for people who are new to Illustrator, I would also recommend playing around with the pathfinder options. Most designs are made of or can be broken down into geometric shapes, particularly with football jumpers and pathfinder is great at manipulating shapes for designs.

From memory there's like six or seven? In increasing difficulty obviously

On a Mac? Quicktime player, file, new screen recording. Put it on youtube or similar and we can all learn how to use the pen tool properly... cheers

I can't seem to get this to work.

Just have a flashing blue dot on the right side of the car. Pen doesn't seem to do anything.

Growth.

I've improved a lot in this time but without this gamer I wouldn't be half the designer I am without this game. Definitely recommend this.
