The worlds golfers turn their attention to the British Isles as Royal St Georges in Sandwich, Kent, opens its doors as host of the 2021 Open Championship.

* Note, don't call it the Open Championship in front of Americans, they mad.

The Open has been kind to Australians with no less than 4 winners of the prestigious claret jug. Greg Norman has 2, Ian Baker Finch (IBF not to be confused with IVF) won 1, Kel Nagle also 1, and of course Peter Thompson acquired FIVE including 54-56.

Telecast is on Kayo and Foxsports. Both are currently running an Open channel (503). Coverage starts

There are 10 Aussies in the field. The usual suspects, sorry, make that 11 with Min Woo Lees Scottish open victory earning him a spot in the field.

Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas lead the American pack ranked 1 and 2 respectively. Meanwhile, Jon Rahm is the leading Euro at 3.

Enjoy the sedate commentary.

Which Australian dropped out, after Min Woo Lee's win last weekend I thought there was 11 Aussies this week.

Edit - Apologies I just saw your edit to include him.

Some of the commentators annoy me and can be quite bland and dull with British coverage.

The commercial load is a lot better obviously.
