Ireland from, Paul Stirling (c), Mark Adair, Ross Adair, Andrew Balbirnie, Curtis Campher, Gareth Delany, George Dockrell, Graham Hume, Josh Little, Barry McCarthy, Neil Rock, Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker, Ben White, Craig Young

Who do we open with? Yash or Kohli?
Could possibly go with: Rohit, Yash, Kohli, Sky, Rishabh, Dube, Hardik, Jadeja, Axar, Bumrah, Kuldeep/Arshdeep
If Hardik and Dube can bowl 2 overs each, we can bat all the way to 9

India could open with Bumrah and Arshdeep and still beat Ireland.

Obviously India will win this, but it would be so funny if Ireland went a bit ham here.

How's Pant looked since he got back? I don't watch t20 normally so haven't seen how he's recovered since there's been no Tests
He's been good in the IPL, no issues with movement behind the stumps and scored 446 at an average 40.54 @ 155.40. I think the IPL was just to make sure that he was back at top fitness in preparation for the T20WC.

Love to see it, that crash was horrific!

Yeah it was. I have a feeling maybe mental health played an issue there, as he has just been dropped from a few series in favour of DK. No one has said it was, but think it may have been

Pretty rough attendance, feels like there's 1 stand full and the rest are mostly empty. I know its 10:30 midweek but given this is basically a tournament for SEA immigrants, it's rough to see this.

The SEA diaspora still have to work. How else are they gonna fund cricket in the USA

Bit disappointing given there is such a massive Indian population in the New York metro area. Nepal had a great turnout at the same time yesterday.

Gees this wicket looks hard work to bat on…

It looks more like a test pitch where batsmen are trying to survive rather than trying to score runs, not ideal for T20 matches.

Not to be forgotten of course, there is also a huge Irish diaspora in New York. Wonder if any effort has been made to reach out to that community?

The more I learn about this tournament, the more I learn the ICC have no intention of growing the game in the US.
