The goal of the Sweet F.A Players Association - beez Trophy is to determine the most valuable poster in the Sweet F.A in any given season. The award was created by Jack The Godfather back in Season 15. It had a hiatus during S16, S19-21, and was returned as an official award in Season 22 and has since been a focal point of the league during the awards season.

Season 15

beez led from the front in season 15, and on his way guided the Bombers to a preliminary final where they just fell short of vying to win back to back premierships. He had a reasonable year on an individual level, but probably didn't have the consistency he somewhat desired. All in all it was a productive year for the inspirational skipper.

His posting resume is the envy of the posting fraternity, and there's nothing this man isn't capable of achieving when it comes down to typing on a keyboard. He's extremely funny without intention, he doesn't spam incessantly and generally stays on the topic at hand and he's a creative mind that comes across as quite an intelligent individual outside the SFA.

His participation levels around the league are more than adequate, and he has an opinionated mindset that must be admired, as he'll tell it how he sees it regardless of the other posters image and reputation. The one thing that people must understand regarding beez, is that such is the nature of his creative thinking and wit, a match thread with him among the players is always worthy of creating enjoyment and lifting participation levels. His banter is brilliant which makes him a worthy candidate as the best poster in the league.

While not being as big on media as some of the other players, what he does create is generally a classic which contributes to the league as a fantasy element. It's a knockout was a great idea that raised activity and made opposition players take an interest in matches they weren't involved. The same can be said for his milestone thread, which was game related and gave players the recognition they deserved for their on field achievements.

beez is arguably the most respected and admired poster in the league, he represents all threads with a professional approach and contributes with quality on a regular basis, which is of no coincidence that he's been selected by his peers as the best poster in the SFA. He's set the bar as far as posting efforts go, but don't expect the quality to dissipate anytime soon. He sticks with his own high standards and never falls below what's expected from the opposition.

Congratulations on winning the inaugural MVP, with back to back next season not out of the question.

The Filth Wizard finished his rookie season with a Dragons best and fairest and selection in the All-SFA side, and looking to improve on a stellar debut season in the Sweet FA. He accomplished that and more in season 17, as promotion to the vice captaincy and the added responsibility seen him scale to greater heights. Upon completion of the season he became dual All-SFA, Dragons MVP and Players Association MVP, to make a mockery of the dreaded second year blues. His stokes rose significantly when he was at one stage considered as a replaced for the vacant admin role.

TFW became one of the most respected and well liked posters in the game, as his status as a relaxed, easy going and friendly foe gave impetus to match threads, and threads across the board. A new lease of life was afforded when the extra responsibility as a leader of his club paved the way for his presence to step up a notch. He displays all the hallmarks of a champion poster. Oozes class, shows respect, amazes as a leader, is witty, humorous and can antagonise when the need arises. A truly great season on the posting front as seen this now heralded young star upstage his more experience and better known brother pantskyle in the excellence department, and with it become not only the most improved poster in the league, but the best. Full credit must be given for his rapid rise in stature. He became his sides most prolific and most revered poster, which set the tone for his promotion to co-captaincy of the Dragons for next season.

'The Filth and his Fury' was an underrated series where we witnesses his imaginative abilities as a poster and media performer. While not being as prolific in media as others, he brings a breath of fresh air, and a less than serious attitude to the media industry, as he looks to make another name for himself in the future.

Congratulations of being recognised by your peers as the most outstanding poster of season 17, and one who'll be hard to displace from the position next season.

Season 18 - Marlowe

Is anyone surprised? Really?

Marlowe is a class act. Intelligent, witty and fun to post with (for and against) he is what this league needs more of - sharp posters. And he's as keen as they come. A match thread wizard he has the ability to turn threads on their head with a single post. When he speaks, we listen. It's a remarkable trait to have - even more so on an anonymous forum but that is the charisma of Marlowe.

I'm not going to bore you with post stats or possessions - Marlowe did have a decent season in case you were wondering - but it's his media, his ability to post in any thread and make it better and his energy that put him in a class above.

I'd love to get him on a podcast one time as I think he would be the perfect guest but until then I'll just have to keep following him around the forum to find the nuggets of gold that he leaves.

It's hard to get us to agree on anything on here but I'm willing to bet that tonight everyone agrees we got this one right.

Congratulations to Marlowe on his win and I look forward to Season 19 where plenty of you out there really need to lift your games.

Season 22 - Ant Bear

It was a tight race to the ultimate posting glory in Season 22 and now we crown the champion, Ant Bear.

Ant Bear was an unstoppable force in any task he wished to tackle in Season 22. We are all here playing a fantasy Football game, and we love it. However, it simply would not be as fun and as enjoyable as it is today if people like Ant Bear didn't come along and spend the time and put in the effort for the sole purpose of keeping the masses entertained.

While it was not a pretty ending to the Sin City Swamprats campaign to become the Season 22 premiers after being knocked out in the Elimination Final only a few weeks ago, they will have this and hisrecent Mobbenfuhrer Medal win to celebrate for a long time to come.

I had the privilege of posting against Ant Bear twice this season, and it was an absolute joy. I am absolutely certain that if you were to ask his teammates if they enjoyed posting alongside him, they too would echo similar thoughts.

Ant Bear this season encapsulated what this league is about. In match threads he managed an astonishing 1,876 posts at an average of 104.2... Just to be clear, the league isn't about having 100 posts a match thread... Sure, some of those were probably crappy gifs and telling @Millky95 he is a terrible captain, but as indicated by the result of his win - they were fun and humorous.

If you thought a fantasy game couldn't get any more fantasy, Ant Bear thought otherwise introducing his Qooty Fantasy Draft Game which was a huge success and was no doubt one of the many media threads that solidified him as the best poster in Season 22. Do not underestimate the work and time that goes into media threads, let alone ones that are continued through a whole 17 round season without fail (actually, he may have failed, I don't know, I didn't play). On top of this, he had a plethora of high rating media threads on various different topics which can be located below.

The vice-captain for the Sin City Swamprats was not only phenomenal off-field, but on-field he blew away the competition with a total of 202 Kicks, 179 Handballs, 126 Tackles, 25 Goals and 1,642 Dream Team points and is an absolute favourite to win the Sin City Swamprats Best and Fairest award.

Congratulations, Ant Bear. Someone keep @Butler away from giving him too many drinks.

Season 23 - Blacky

Finally, we arrive at our winner of the 5th Sweet F.A Players Association - beez Trophy.

In what was is bit of a walk off KO, the sole superstar down at the Gold City Royals, @Blacky is crowned the best poster of Season 23 as voted by his peers. He will walk home tonight with a 337 vote victory.

After a shattering defeat at the hands of @Ant Bear in Season 22, Blacky has not let that get to him too much as he has backed it up with another season of quality posting that sees him winning the approval of his peers and improving his third place finish to finally be able to take him the beez Trophy.

Polling in 41 of 47 voters lists, he has blown away his competition in staggering fashion. The Gold City Royals captain is the only player from his club to feature inside the Top 30 posters. They may not have much going for them, but hey, at least they have Blacky... At least for now.

What is not to love about him? He is a dream boat. Funny, good looking (may not be true), romantic (also may not be true), strong (again, may not be true), has Moderator Powers that only the best of the bes- ah, scrap that @Sterge & @_Cayz_ are Moderators...

Season 24 - The Filth Wizard

It has been a very intense season if your name is The Filth Wizard, and I'm sure it has been more intense as he realized he was in the Top 2 posters of Season 24.

However, in saying, this is not new for @The Filth Wizard. For the first time in the leagues history, and the awards rather short history, we have our first dual Sweet F.A Players Association - beez Trophy winner with the East Side Hawks captain.

If anyone has been involved in controversy this season, it has been The Filth Wizard, however, through it all, he has displayed nothing but elegance and class. Inside of a match thread, The Filth Wizard is not someone you wish to challenge, however, if you are to be nice, he has comedic timing and value that is up there with the best of them.

The former Administrator has taken back his media contributions this season, but has been a solid contributor in match and media threads and has captained a brigade of posters that are in the leagues top echelon.

Congratulations, The Filth Wizard. Congratulations to every poster.

Season 25 - JoshWoodenSpoon

There hasn't been a more meteoric rise in the Sweet FA in Season 25 than the new Las Vegas captain @JoshWoodenSpoon. Josh's incredible humour and creativity in match thread and media postings lifted him to the summit of the league as he polled an Earth-shattering 1477 votes.

His media content continues to take a rare intellectual, relevant and humorous style with quality content such as the continuation of the Power Rankings algorithm. But nothing provided the entire league with more lulz than his performance of favours for other captains in the league when @Matera92 returned for one game to stuff up a team sheet. The highlight of which was a Wonderwall cover that should be etched into Sweet FA folklore.

Season 26 - JoshWoodenSpoon

In what ended up being a comprehensive win in the count, for the second consecutive season Bears captain Joshwoodenspoon has taken out the Beez Trophy with a mammoth 1282 votes – 419 votes above the runner-up. After his incredible Season 25, it would be hard to imagine anyone having the energy and time investment to keep the efforts and quality up but that is exactly what Josh has managed to do. Along with his comedic style of banter, talent with words and graphics, combined with a carefree attitude that doesn’t take himself and others around the league too seriously Josh is certainly one of the best in the match threads. In addition to his own output, he adds leadership responsibilities on top of that as he has recruited and guided the top 2 rookies in the EKA at the Bears this season, plus offering assistance with the posting of games on Sundays, writing up match thread previews, along with helping out on Mobbs Night with writeups, he is certainly one of the most prominent Sweet FA personalities over recent seasons. Furthermore, his media work continues to be original and creative coming up with new ideas that not only entertain but provide focus on the game of Qooty and have relevance to the league – the most popular being the JWS Academy of Excellence that assessed everyone on their Qooty performances based on an individual goal and attracted much attention and enjoyment. With all that in mind, it seems fitting that Josh’s contributions have netted another Beez MVP as the Sweet FA’s best poster.

The winner of the Season 27 Beez is @The Jesus .

A lot can be said about The Jesus. He posts in match threads. He posts media threads. I guess those media threads are good and creative and appealing to most people in the league. He appears on podcasts to provide commentary about issues and is a great exponent of story telling and imagination as he has a way with words.

I guess his best contribution this season was his truth is the new banned substance thread whereby he exposes JoshWoodenSpoon and the nefarious conspiracies to take advantage of All-SFA selection criterias which is one of the many examples or so I've been told about his media thread expertise. He is evidently a forward thinking revolutionary because he constantly campaigns to bring about the Wheel of Punishment much to my chagrin and is looking to be quite a popular concept. I writes excellent creative match thread OPs that are brimming with quality and originality.

I don't really know what else to say. Maybe the rest of the league will have a clearer idea how The Jesus won and all his posting excellency

Season 28 - manangatang

And so, the winner of the beez Trophy, for the best poster in the land of Sweet, is Mt Buller Demons skipper @manangatang.
It has been a steady rise up the rankings for mang, modestly debuting in 57th place with 51 votes in his rookie season of S25, then leaping to 23rd place in S26 and then finishing 4th last season with 888 points.
With 1174 points in S28, mang is a clear choice of his peers as the most outstanding poster on the Sweet FA board. His match thread average of 30 posts, as well as the popular POTW and Weekly Review threads, and his other contributions to the board, make manangatang a deserving winner. Season 30 - Tigerturbulance

And therefore, we have a new winner of the beez MVP trophy. Furies whirlwind @Tigerturbulance has scooped the pool, with a massive total of 1377 votes, to comprehensively win the S30 beez Trophy. This is the second highest vote total ever, behind only JWS in S25, and is reflective of an absolutely dominant season of posting.

Since debuting in S26, Tigerturbulance has been a consistent vote-winner, and his total has increased every season, culminating in this triumph. This performance had it all – match thread posting, media, podcast, shooping – and is reflective of the effort that Turbo brought to the league in S30. Always a poster on the rise, with a 7th and a 4th placing in previous seasons, it should be no surprise that Tigerturbulance has claimed this seasons award, and it is truly deserved for the effort that he has brought to the table. He will now move into the top 10 overall, and we look forward to seeing what Turbo brings to the table in S31.

Season 31 - Barrybran

Last, but not least, joining the elite company of previous winners is the Season 31 Sweet F.A Players Association - beez Trophy winner, Barrybran of the Gumbies FFC.

A feature in the Top 11 from his debut back in Season 26 until now, @Barrybran after a good season of posting, has finally grasped hold of one of the leagues highest honours. A sixth place finish last season has been turned in to victory this season with a massive 1,357 votes; the third most ever received by an individual player (just as a side note; the top 3 vote getters of all-time all end in the number 7).

The Gumbies FFC captain proved to be a hit with his vast array of media contributions, such as his revered statistics thread, the thread were he dressed @NaturalDisaster up in boxer briefs, his match previews that he gave up after 5 rounds, among other solid contributions. Barrybran is always willing to engage the community and is never afraid to share his views on various issues. They must be semi-decent views if he is getting this many votes. As the head of the Gumbies FFC, Barrybran does a fantastic job at flying the flag for his club both in the media as well as the match threads, where he averaged 77.7 posts in Season 31. A thoroughly enjoyable poster by any measure, a much deserved winner.

Season 32 - Elton Johns Wig

When I was tasked with presenting the award to the recipient for the Sweet F.A Players Association - beez trophy I pondered what I could do differently, for I have been doing these write-ups for as long as I can remember. They can become a bit bland and repetitive, unlike the content output by the winner this season. So I thought I would hand the task over to an AI. I presented the AI with a list of the winners thread titles, some general tags about the league and prompted it with:

The following was rather lengthy, so I have decided to cut some out and present to you why the AI believes Elton Johns Wig is the recipient of this seasons award.

I am not entirely sure we can find his 'blogs' located at this location, but in the event Elton Johns Wig gets a bit bored over the off-season he might enter the world of blogging as the Sweet F.A's biggest influencer and can start promoting some of @Tigerturbulance's products.

I would like to extend a sincere congratulations to the winner of the Season 32 Sweet F.A Players Association - beez Trophy, Elton Johns Wig who has, by demonstration of his placing in this seasons award, indeed made the league more lively with a host of media threads and contributions around the board through this season.

Placing 88th in Season 30, then improving to 24th in Season 31, Elton Johns Wig has continued his rise in the posting stakes. Wig kicked off his media contributions this season with a thread that proved to be perhaps his biggest hit of the season, The Whine Room, with previous winner of this award, managatang. I personally have massive respect for Wig. I've never really got why anyone would not - he has put in a huge amount of work this season, he has clearly clicked with his peers this season.

WIG Media was a consistently consistent quality contributor to the league this season, bringing us the joys of many media threads that exceeded the quality of most of what everyone else decided to click post thread on. A great ability to capitalise on the mood, jokes and current ongoings of the league, Elton Johns Wig has had a great season and is a much worth person to be etched in the history books of the Sweet F.A.

Not that this is about me, but I imagine this is the longest write-up I have done for any poster in the history of this award, so we are going to say farwell and leave you with a quote the AI apparently obtained from Elton Johns Wig...
