Supercoach bargains

Right now some of you are finalising your supercoach team.

Now bear in mindthat Pendlebury is worth $700,000 in Supercoach and your average rookie just over $100,000.

So there are some bargains to be had.

Carlton - Brock McLean

A bargain at $280K, Brock will prove a handy addition to your side.

There are some problems though. You don't get points for Northern Blues games so he comes with some risk but being a top 10 draft pick, there's plenty of upside.

North Melbourne - Lachie Hansen

At $310,000, Lachie is surely a bargain - he has Def/Fwd eligibility too.

Only problem, is he can't play either position for shit

Melbourne have so many supercoach bargains, the first:

Liam Jurrah

Liam is injured now and won't be available to you until midseason ( or longer if the authorities have their way) but at $384,000 is a bargain.

He is guaranteed to slice through forward lines and cut away the fat from your team.

Don't pick him for games in the Northern Territory as you will not know what you will get.

If you have a hankering for Melbourne, you could do no worse than go for:

Jack Watts

Jack is a number 1 pick avaialable at just over $400,000. Jack is underrated at the moment and has enormous upset.

The negatives are you don't get points for his my little pony collection and you do not get points played for Casey.

Any of Norf's "gun" midfielders.

Campbell Brown - Gold Coast

Here Campbell is dressed in the Gold Coast uniform.

Campbell is value at $333,000 being one of the few experienced defenders at GC.

He does have a tendency to belt people and get weeks and weeks and weeks so you may not get 22 weeks out of him.

Ryan Schoenmakers

Ryan is a snip at $347,000 but beware he does make the odd clanger so his score may be hurt by his ineptitude.

here we have an elite player with disposal efficiency amongst the best the game has seen.

and we also have clinton jones.

a quick check of stkilda forums confirms the obvious - he should not be allowed to kick - but he does. hence his value supercoach wise is poor at $398900. his clangers mean instant minus points. take him in dreamteam, where efficiency doesnt rate, but raw numbers do.

Tom Liberatore - $405,900

At only $124000 a bargain and can he play.

And

Gold Coast - Karmichael Hunt

At just over $200,000 a bargain defender.

Both players have the slight problem of being ex NRL players but who knows.

Sydney Swans - Mitch Morton

Value at $300,000 and will play one good game in........10.

and

Melbourne - Cale morton

If one Morton can spud up your team, just imagine what 2 will do. Cale is value at $336,000 and should splutter before being dropped.

Look on the brightside, with Cale and Watts in the same side, you have half a chance of one of them playing.

Need some midfield talent. I was thinking of Sylvia but he racks up good scores against soft teams so left him out, ditto Masten.
