It has been reported on the AFL website that former Essendon player Steven Clark has passed away at the age of 44. Pretty sad for someone so young. Sympathy to the family.

OMG - I really liked him, I suspect Sheedy didn't however. Never ever given the opportunities he deserved at our place - slowly sunk into oblivion a la Trevor Spencer when he too went to Melbourne. Was a classy type of player.

Farewell Steve.

No relation to the other Clark you lost recently?

No relation to Nobby, I don't think.

I was only a young bloke, but I remember him getting smashed at Windy Hill one day.
They thought he'd broken his neck, didn't really get much out of him after that.

Gutsy little player, had some toe.

S..t, thats no good.

Gutsy little player - wore no 12 from memory.

Sympathies to the family and his past teammmates.

Nobby had a 'e' on his name so no relation I don't think.

Sad news , far too young. Recollect Steven was a nippy , classy little fellow. Shame.

That is very upsetting news, another player from the 80's meeting an untimely death. I loved the little bloke, was upset when he left the Bombers. :(

R.I.P. Steven & condolences to his family & friends.
