here is my take. i even wrote notes for this.

• Aunty Joy was involved in the Welcome to country,
• Bassett went full barrels and let the AFL know what we think of them and their NGAs, Father, Sons. As well also to remind the AFL that we wont be making up the numbers.
• Bruce Eva on stage giving B&F presentations to the wheelchair and blind teams.
• Darcy Wilson won the best emerging player. (and so he should)

Food was good. they even were able to provide me with special entree . I was impressed.
Alcohol was plentiful, - very happy for that.
