Correct, it is D. Endless Simpsons references. The reason I'm here today.

The Sweet FA has been crying out for a Simpsons themed team and Springfields own team, the Isotopes, have responded. The Springfield Isotopes are seeking entry in the Sweet FA for the leagues 34th season.

The Springfield Isotopes are legitimately seeking interest in players joining their expansion bid and will cast the net far and wide to bring in new players for this exciting new venture.

I heartily endorse this event or product.

What about Broken? He couldn't even see the Bears bid through to inception. Plus, he disappears every few seasons.

I know that will hang over this bid and be seen as a weak point. I'd like to think I'm in a better place than I was 8 years ago. There's no guarantees in life, but I'm hoping to see this through to the end and looking forward to having some fun with it.

Where will this new team play?

Let me field this one. We're happy to play anywhere. The only danger is if they send us to that terrible Planet of the Apes. Wait a minute... Statue of Liberty... that was our planet. You maniacs, you blew it up. Damn you! Damn you all to hell!

Who else is in this bid?

I can announce Smartys Power as part of this bid, but this is only the starting point. We'll announce names as we gather momentum.

But the leagues not ready to expand!

Looking at the post-a-tron 5000 we calculate roughly 280 players post in a match thread this season. As there's 240 active spots in any given week. That means a difference of 40 players who have participated this season who have missed out on a spot at various points this season. Hoyvee Glavin. It doesn't matter if they post 1 time or 10,000 they've shown they want to be a part of this league, so let's find a spot for them. Glavin.

Why Season 34?

It's a bit too close to Season 33 now, so it would give the league, and us, enough time to prepare for a new team.

How will the league benefit from this bid?

Hey, look at my feet. You like those moccasins? Look in your closet; there’s a pair for you. Don’t like them? Then neither do I! Get the hell outta here! Ever see a guy say good-bye to a shoe?

Do you have a plan for this team?

We plan to find our way for our first couple of seasons, be at our best for the next 10 or so, then gradually get worse over time.

Do you think the committee will approve this bid?

Young friends, the committee, is confused about expansion. Do you know what they do? They flip-flop. Sometimes they don't know whether they're coming or going. They want to sell the leagues future short.

How confident are you in this bid being approved?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: democracy simply doesn’t work.

What happens if this bid doesn't get up?

The only thing I'll say is the mayor of Albuquerque is watching this bid closely.

When are you going to give up this crazy expansion scheme?
