I'm in a temporary share house atm. Every now and again they have a night out and invite everyone back to ours. Last night got chatting to a guy who was the guitarist for The Horrors.

Respect your opinion but that's a wild take. Maybe a bias at play but never in a billion years would i have made that connection.

It's always sounded like she was emulating that terrible period where people were poorly aping Winehouse, personally.

She's the pop version of second wave grunge. Biting all the worst aspects of what came before.
