The worst Brownlow winner in history.

Stepup, Chris Judd.

(3 votes in a 9 goal loss)
(2 votes against Freo, when McPhee beat him).

You just have to LOL.:)

He did get a lazy 30 touches in that game. The most influential player on the ground in that round 13 clash .
He also got 1 vote in the round 22 game against Freo. Have a look at the 3rd quarter. It was probably the best individual quarter by any player this year.

Even Mark Blake is entitled to fell hard done by in this years count after some of the votes Judd got.

Shoud've polled half what he did.

Should've been suspended for 3-4 weeks for a deliberate elbow to Pavlich in frustration at being beaten by McPhee all game. Not only that, jags 2 votes.

Isn't it best & fairest? How can you win it when you're nowhere near being in the top echelon of both these categories?

Vale Brownlow.

Tonight it died a horrible death. :(

McPhee has 9 possessions for the game, Judd had 30 . And you idiots on here think that McPhee towelled up Judd ??? What drugs are you all on , I ask ?

Im glad the umpires showed Swan for the receiving chipscab who can cant kick for shit, anti excitement machine that he is.

Well done Juddy. Drinks at mine mid october, enjoy the honeymoon, bang her with both on :thumbsu:

Apparently Judd's game was better that night than Barlow, who had 30 disposals & kicked 4 goals.

LOL.

I think you'll find Barlow got 3 in round 13.

Judd V McPhee.

Round 13
30 disposals, 14 contested possessions, 4 clearances, 4 I50s, 2 score assists, 3 clangers
9 disposals, 12 tackles, 1 score assist, 4 clangers

Round 22
30 disposals, 16 contested possessions, 9 tackles, 7 clearances, 6 I50s, 2 clangers
21 disposals, 5 tackles, 3 clearances, 5 I50s, 4 clangers

Here's a fun game, guess who's stats are who. No shit tagger at your flog club can stop him.

Pity the Umps couldn't work a way around the system, to award him votes in the first three rounds.

They did. They tacked on the votes that they would have given him in the first 3 rounds into rounds he played where he wasn't even in the top 5 for best on ground. Seriously, Judd won because there was nobody else that could take away votes from him at Carlton.

I've heard this argument alot, but nobody has an answer for this: to poll votes Judd has to be better than not only his own teammates but the 22 PLAYERS IN THE OPPOSITION TEAM. looks like nobody could 'take away' votes from him. By that logic, why wasn't Mark LeCras or Jack Reiwoldt racking up massive amounts of votes? I'm laughing so much at the overreaction from you flogs.

I love how the media are already calling this second Brownlow as an incredible football achievement when we all know that everyone's just bemused at the voting of the umpires more than anything else.

Best & Fairest.....too funny,..The fairest component has a rather pungent smell about it, just cant identify...Wait!!.... Umpires to be sponsored by Visy in the near future?....It's a recycled crap smell!.....

If Mark LeCras or Jack Riewoldt had won the thing, there'd be the same bemusement and annoyance as there is now. Judd had a good year, sure, but nowhere near as good as Ablett or Swan (plus others). The man himself said he didn't think he had a good enough year to win it.
