Last time they met: Season 31, Round 13
The Roys and the Demons played out one of the best games a neutral fan could witness, with neither side losing the chance to win the game. The Roys got close to securing the 4 points when they went 14 points up with 12 minutes remaining in the game, but 3 Mount Buller goals in a minute should’ve seen a hard-fought Demons victory. Inaccurate kicking from both sides undid all this, however; a last-minute defensive maneuver saw the scores tied at 100 apiece at the final siren. Proper Gander and pantskyle were the best players on the day, while JackNah_8 was the only Roy to have anything to show.
What I want to talk about though is an Icelandic folktale about a gorilla who wonders the human settlements for charity, particularly from naughty children. Every Xmas, she wanders the snowy fields looking for children who might be misbehaving and will test them to see if the child is truly evil by sending out the Krampus. This is because the naughty children aren’t likely to give charity and they’re just looking for an excuse to punish kids. She’ll even use guerilla tactics to wait out in the snow for hours, waiting for a chance to take another victim. The biggest mystery though is what happens to the children. Most stories say that she cooks them up on her griller to eat for Xmas dinner but what the stories don’t explain is whether it’s a charcoal griller or a propane griller. It’s rather annoying when you read a good story but they don’t go into detail about the important matters.
Anyways, Mobbs Headless Make sure that the teamsheet is correct and posted before Friday at 3 am AEDT.
