It could maybe be that our defence in the ressies is shit. By that I mean it is not conducive to developing players or playing to a script.

We need to set the standard in defence so that the whole team is a fertile place to develop AFL players.

If one part of the field is shit. The whole team suffers.

Just look at the players that were delisted Vickery, Arnold and Magor. We needed someone who can actually play defence. Hence Bice. Does not mean he is a shoe in to the ones.

He is providing guidance to the whole ressie team. He has experience. That is valuable to our AFL team who are contending.

Sure given injuries he could get a game. If I was a betting man he would be 100-1 getting a game barring injuries.  Florent, Blakey, Roberts, Mills, Rampe etc.
