Pendlebury. As good as Selwood is, he doesn't have the same ability to make time stand still when he has the ball. Both are guns and top 5 players in the competition though.

Selwood goes where other blokes wont.

Selwood. Great player and leader.

Heart and head says Selwood. Pendlebury is one of my favourite players to watch though

Would take Pendlebury over Selwood. Just. Both guns of the competition though.

Selwood ducks his head for free kicks more often than any other player. Pendlebury, please.

Maybe a bit biased, but Pendlebury. Hes one of a kind in the AFL, Tall, Perfect Disposal, finds time like no other and versatile. Selwood is still an Absolute gun but there are a few players like him (K.Jack, T.Boak ect)
And i also think the way afl will be played in the future towards the end of there careers (both will retire around the 35 age mark imo) is that the midfied will have a bundle of 190cm 90kg big body midfielders.
Both are absolute fantastic afl players and will be for years to come.

Selwood, hes done it time and again in big games, lifts his team like few others in the comp can.
Pendelbury looks fine when his team is up and about seems to go missing a bit more than Selwood does i feel.

What?? Pendlebury is one of the best big game players in the league.

OK OK for the Pies cry babies i love Pendlebury and his basketball background and how he coasts along at one speed through the majority of most games i now prefer him to Selwood i'm sorry for giving my opinion i'm so sorry for sullying Pendlebury's fine name may he win the next 4 norm smiths to make my post look even more stupid.
Mods pls change my vote i'm sure hes at home sobbing about it right about now.

If you can't handle people criticizing your opinions you shouldn't be posting on an internet forum.

The thing is, Pendlebury doesn't really go missing much, and is a great big game player, as evidenced by his Norm Smith and a couple of Anzac medals. So your first post is factually wrong.

He also doesn't coast along at one speed, so even your sarcastic post is wrong.

Pendlebury by a fair distance. They're both great users of the ball but Pendlebury moves so well - never seems to get tackled - and he gets much more of it. Second best player in the league in my opinion and I wouldn't be shocked to see him claim the top spot in the next season or two. I also think he'll establish himself as a great captain once Maxwell gets the **** out of the way.

But on the other hand, Pendles had those god awful dread locks a few years back.
