Baghdad Bombers vs Fighting Furies at Abdu Prison

Bombers 9th, 7-7-1, 93.97% vs Furies 4th, 8-7, 105.10%

A critical clash for both teams, moreso the Bombers who look to book a last-minute finals berth. Should they salute in this game, they will overtake the Furies on the ladder, and 9th spot will be determined by other results. The Bombers can finish as high as 4th if ALL of the Demons, Dragons, Gumbies and Warriors lose and they win; realistically, they should be satisfied with a season-extending victory to at least keep their premiership defence alive. The Furies occupy 4th spot, and a win should sew up the double chance because of their strong percentage, but a loss will drop them into an elimination final and leave Sterge’s career on a knife’s edge.
