S22 Round 16 Mt Buller Demons v Gold City Royals @ Snow Dome (MOTR)

6th placed Mount Buller Demons take on the 2nd placed Gold City Royals in the Match of the Round at the Snow Dome. This will be an exciting game to watch with the Demons desperate to take home the chocolates in a late bid to snag a top 4 position coming into finals. The Demons are in red hot form coming off a 47 point victory over the Bombers while the Royals had a similar 45 point win over the disappointing Wolves.
Players to watch:
Demons: Azarole has kicked 62 goals so far for the season and is the key to the Demons forward line firing, if the Royals can figure out how to shut him down you would think the game is theirs. Former Mobbs medallist cooney is always potent in the midfield and is averaging a solid 22 disposals a game, watch out for linkages of play between RU_, Van_Dyke and cooney. Returning star okeydoke7 could also play a big part and has kicked a huge number of goals over his career.
Royals: Thatsapaddlin is having a stellar season and continued that in round 15 with 33 touches, 7 tackles and a goal, the Royals will look to him as their main user of the ball while he is strongly supported by BigJoeD_ in the ruck.
