Labelling men who are predators as freaks is pretending that they aren't normal men, it's like when someone commits dv or sa and they get called a monster.

It's dehumanising language to other them and an excuse suggest their actions are an unnatural fault with them.

My experience is that they're just people, they're violent because they can be, they usually have a very misogynistic unhealthy view of women as well as a very strong sense of entitlement.

They're owed what they want and justified in getting it by any means necessary.

This attitude isn't just limited to people that commit sexual assault, facing that is harder than calling them freaks or monsters though regardless of how terrible their actions are
