Row numbers at Metricon..

Coming up on Sat week for the Swans game and looking forward to it immensely.

Can somebody confirm what letter row starts in the upper section?

One source said the rows in the upper section start at 'W' with AA, BB, CC etc starting after 'Z'.

Anybody?

I notice a lot of people "upgrade" themselves to better seats once the game has started. No one enforces the seating, I've found twice people seating in my seat, and I just ask them to move.

Thx SK, with your help I got it sorted.

I bought tix at lunchtime at an outlet, this is where the girl told me the first row was 'W' and I bought in 'X'.

It didn't sound right, hence my question on this board. After your info I called Ticketmaster who confirmed your info. They also told me that a whole heap of tix were released this afternoon and if I went back to the outlet I could change tix without cost, if I did it today.

Fortunately the outlet is downstairs from my office, so down I went. The girl claims she 'meant' that Row 'W' was the first available, not the first row per se

Anyway, in Row C now, next to an aisle (I hope, but not convinced until I get there ) and it's all good.

We know the folks on either side of us...and the guys to the right of us are not (strictly speaking) the owners of the seats.

I only care when someone is in my seat haha. But otherwise yeah I agree all the power to you if you want to move up to a better seat. I call friends in the 1st qtr if there are seats available next to me everytime.

But as you said, havent had the same people around me at any of the games yet that I noticed.

Hey guys im comming up for the sydney game from melb.
Would i be safe getting general admission at the gate? I dont really care about good seats , just want to get it. Should i be safe just to do that ? Thanks

Last week I got to the game with about 20min before the bounce, and there was a fairly big line for the ticket sales. For the North game, and even the Geelong game, we got there about an hour before and there was hardly any line, and I'm fairly sure it was open for sales.

I don't think they'll sell out of GA tickets, seeing as it's against Sydney, but I'd get there early enough just to be sure.

Not to mention we haven't had a physical sell out yet either. Just buy GA online now if you have the coin, saves having to turn up and wait in line or any other travel mishaps.

Thanks mate. Ill buy some now. Also whats the go with getting to the ground? Am stayin in broadbeach is there a bus service out 2 carrara? Saw somthing about a free ride if you have a valid game ticket but i may have misread it lol

If your at Broadbeach, there should be a free service running from Pacific Fair. But just check out the website for travel information where the free routes are.
