We won’t get many easy wins this season. Every team and every player from opposition clubs will be keen to see how they measure up against the reigning premiers. This particularly applies to teams that are unlikely to participate in this year’s finals. This is their chance to show their talent and the promise of better things to come. I will be happy if we can chalk up another win. I don’t think it will be easy.

Anyone disappointed by the lack of special jumpers for us this season. We didn't make one for gather round, or anzac around as well. Is this a sign that the new balance deal is ending? Because the club used to make a huge effort during Anzac day, and that's nowhere to be seen this season.

. I hope he goes well. Team is settled and hopefully refreshed. Need to make a statement today after our lapse against Collingwood. Would love four quarters out of Hipwood, Rayner and Cameron.

It’s hard to improve on perfection. These two guernseys are “special.” I think it they are the best strips in the AFL by a country mile.

I broadened my post. I always prefer the traditional “Fitzroy” colours when we are in Melbourne, but it doesn’t trouble me, as long as our players come out with the beating hearts of Lions today.
