Great to get some players back, I still can't see how we kick a score.
Keep the midfield as is from last week throw Bri forward.

Welcome back Wiz!

That's a ripping HB line btw.

Almost the best team we've fielded this year?
Shows our dearth of quality talls, which as was said earlier is going to make it hard to score.

Like that Remmos is still getting games. She doesn't look out of place in the midfield.
Morris, like Fowler, just doesn't look up to the speed of the game as a tall.

....keep playing the kids.

Rough conditions is putting it lightly. Was a pour down when I was on my way there, and then again when I went to grab something to eat at half time.

The girls battled, but think we have to come to accept that we are now a developing side.

I think the way richmond moves the ball from stoppage is something we could look to implement.

Hard conditions yesterday , but same for both teams. One team handled it well one didn't.
We have no forward line is to state the obvious. But I feel the first thing of concern is our fitness and conditioning is way behind the other clubs.
I feel our skill and connection will improve when we are fit enough to compete.
We have been shown up as slow and unfit in nearly all games.
Hawks, richmond even bulldogs all making us look terrible.
We can't spread with the exception of Rowe and bonnici.
Schleicher as an example while doing OK as a mid hasn't trained her body for that roll , so looks tired at times can't spread to be an option. Hence she took 0 marks yesterday.
Although there are other factors, as in extremely poor recruiting generally,
I hope they look carefully at the conditioning side of things and are ruthless with it.
If not all the systems in the world aren't going to help this team.
If you can't present to Collingwood in 2025 preseason as a elite women's footballer in terms of fitness and physique then stop wasting the Coahes and clubs time and go and play amateur's.

Very disappointing if, as you say, our fitness and conditioning has dropped away. No excuse for that, and it’s something we can control (unlike having our players raided by other clubs, or being forced to play a constricted schedule of games).

What are your thoughts on the new coach and coaching regime?

You always look slow when you’re chasing tail, you alway look worse on the spread if you’re uncertain of the system. I’d doubt fitness and conditioning is much of an issue beyond the interrupted season many have had. The absence of Sheridan in our midfield mix can’t be underestimated either.

Not dismissing what your saying but chasing tail and spreading to receive and creates an option are two different things.
We don't spread, so we don't have options up field. If you aren't going to run and spread when your team has the ball you'll never run, attacking run being the easiest most rewarding part.
When we havnt got the ball the more highly skilled teams tick tack their way up the field with speed and ease, picking multiple options available as they go.
I still say we are mile's off into fitness wise.
As for the Coach who knows, he hasn't got much to work with at the moment, I feel sorry for him, he has a big job to turn it around. He won't do that without an injection of some talent and a hard honest conversation with a lot of players on the list.
