Morrison got exposed at stopage a lot, particularly in our D50. I think he makes way for Scrim and Sam shuffles the deffence a bit. Ward to play Morrison's role and hopfully do better around stopage.

I think Ginni or Finn makes way for Croc. Finn has had the better year so far and is more versatile. So I'd give Ginni a run at Boxhill to find some touch, he's best is good enough but last night was bad (his role looks terrible when as a team we are terrible though).

HH for Nash if he doesn't get up, or you drop Finn. I think he starts as sub if he comes in and Breut starts.

I thought Morrison was worse. Think his role is also easier to cover than Ginnivans as that hard working high half forward and someone who can also play deep.

Morrison was one of out better players, I thought. You really notice how much effort he puts in to get the right spots defensively. Also had some strong one on one moments when the ball was on the deck.

With Scrim will Sicily start forward, or is Morrison, Impey or Amon going to be out of the side?

Out: Ginnivan, Nash(inj), Worpel(inj)

In: Scrimshaw, MacDonald, Husthwaite

Chol needs to be dropped but unfortunately we can't with our tall forward stocks at the moment.

Scrimshaw goes back, Sicily needs to start forward. Rotate between him or Hardwick. Start the game with intent. Not from half time.

His defensive lapses cost us multiple goals.

Morrison was poor. Like his cool head at times, but would prefer we inject HH.

Finn as a forward has limitations and should make way for Croc.

Love a lot about CJ, but he has to come out for Scrim.

Ginni has had a poor year. Not sure Breust is the answer, but he's running out of chances.

In: Scrimshaw, Serong, McDonald
Out: Ginnivan, Morrison, Maginess

Serong gives us the option of maintaining an interceptor down back while allowing Sicily forward and Weddle around the ball more. Dangerfield plays big when he goes forward and Scrimshaw will probably need to take him. Battle presumably will go to Cameron and Barrass to Neale.

Stewart will presumably be back so Sicily needs to go forward to keep the Cats accountable in the air.

Isn't Maginess a tagger? Thought you would have had him run with Holmes, who has been tagged for the first time in his career (most notably by Windhager in round 2) a couple of times this season.

He hasn’t been used in that role of late. Last night he played the half forward turnover role while their half backs ran riot. Unless redeployed back into that role (and he’d be a good match for Holmes I agree), I’d drop him. He’s a liability with ball in hand

OUT: Finn, Nash (inj), Ginnivan, Morrison

IN: McDonald, Hustwaite, Scrimshaw, Frost

I’d play Breust from the start. Sicily forward as Chol just not competing adequately. Chol only survives due to lack of alternatives. Last night was his worst performance since becoming a hawk

If Worpel is inured, Morrison to stay in.

There were several options to tag last night and he wasn’t used so at this point he becomes a liability in any other area of the ground.

If anything I’d tell him he’s got a job on Stewart a la SPP on Sicily last night and it’s his last chance to make a case to stay in the team.

Can’t see CJ being dropped. He was our second best ball winner at half time, from memory.

That first half was deer in the headlights stuff, regrouped in the second half but damage was done. As Sam said they taught us a lesson, you learn when you lose. Luckily a few new faces come in and we make some minor changes.
We are better than that and now to the Cats. Fingers crossed with the lesson learnt and well entrenched in our heads.

Morrison had some very notable lapses defensively that cost us goals directly. I rate him but these were things you can forgive once but not multiple times. Just seemed to get caught ball watching and allowed his opponent goal side.

Hustwaite is likely to come in if Nash or Worps are not fit, Scrim and Croc both should also be back so Morrison and possibly Ginni go out to make way.

Ginni has had a poor start to the year, you'd like to get some confidence into his game and perhaps a short stint at BH will help him rediscover that.

The team has earnt the right to avoida any knee-jerk reactions from the coaching staff by their excellent form to date. I'm happy with only forced changes (both by injuries out, and scrim/Mcdonald coming in). So it's all dependent on whether Worpel/Nash get up for mine.
