First half things just did not go to plan, but a lot was our own doing.

Last week against the Eagle i thought we did not lower our eyes going forward. Pinged away at goals when that was not the option.

That trait was still there in the first half, and we struggled to score.

People may say it was wet but watching live i thought the conditions were good for footy.

Marks inside 50 to half time Cats 8 Lions 0 with Neale being tagged out of the game with 8 disposals to half time.

I mentioned before halftime Fagan and the coaches have to do something about Neale when he is not handling a hard tag.

Move him forward/wing/start off on the bench but do something to help break the tag.

After 1/2-time Neale lines up at full forward (again in the last quarter) and takes our first mark inside 50 for the day.

Neale scored a point. We then took two more marks inside 50 shortly after, unfortunately those also resulted in a point.

But at that stage you could see things had turned and we played a better style of footy.

Not as congested up forward and we kicked 4 goals 3 behinds to the Cats zero setting us up for the last quarter to win the game

I was just as impressed with our last quarter as our 3rd as Geelong responded and it was a struggle to eventually win the game.

I believe the pressure rating was over 200 for both teams in the last quarter.

Our KPF of Hippy, Morris & Day are doing a great job of not being out marked one on one.

But Geelong had an extra tall in defense and that made it very difficult for KPF when our players just rushed kicks forward.

Of the three only Morris was credited with a mark I50 but that was literally on the 50-meter line.

Mainly our defense has got us to be 3-0

We got the win and are 3-0 and i will say again i am so glad we did not meet the Cats in OR or things may be very different.
