I love this outlook, but a lot has to happen first.


I don't think Thilthorpe will have a break out next year, it will be tough going on our forward line for one more year.


You are bang on about role players though, and so much depends on our back line as good opposition will still beat our midfield at least 60% in clearances.


If our offensive tilts come out of the defensive pressure/ turnovers then with our improved outside ball movement (Dawson Milera from Lynch MacKay) then at least Fogarty will be able to lead into the 50m line.


Thilthorpe will be manned up tightly and may break games in bursts but I suspect will need time up the field too get into games.


With Gollant the third tall hopefully he can find consistency along with McAdam, but our smalls are a massive gap.


Hopefully Rowe can start the way he did last year with a better preseason, but we definitely have a Pickett/ Weightman/ Stengle/ Rankine/ Josh Rachele sized hole in our forward line.


I haven't mentioned the midfield except that we will be beaten, lots of work to do here.
