Hate Hawthorn? Nah. You never actually beat us when it matters. In fact playing you in crunch game is fantastic. You have to go all the way back to 1983 for the last time you actually had a win of note against us.

I do worry about the disintegrating culture your club is developing. You will be West Coast in just a few more years.

Essendon is the greatest club in the AFL and always will be. You cannot touch us, no matter how you rage. No spoon since 1933. Never voted to merge with another club or forced to play home games interstate. Our membership rises in the face of the greatest challenge we have ever faced.
