Will always love Lynchy, don't begrudge him at all for trying to extend his career at Collingwood after we were pretty much done with him.

Also bombard gets top marks for the thread title and finding that ad on Youtube. I still say "not anymore!" in Lynchy's voice all the time.

He must have been thinking the same thing as me as I put it up in the main board thread. :D

Was sorry to see him go at the end of 2012, I reckon we are still missing that true CHF player that he was, should have ended his career with us, but good on him for trying to get as much out of himself, and telling the club to stick it when we only offered him one year, bad call on our part. Well done Lynchy, always remember that 06 season when he dominated, and that goal from outside 50 in GF in the 3rd quarter!

Can be proud of his achievements as an AFL player. It's a shame for him that his time at Collingwood didn't quite work out as he would have hoped. I'm sure that he will be welcome at the Eagles in the future any time as club premiership player, and I hope that most Eagles fans will remember his career fondly.

Yep, great work on the title bombard.

He did well for himself moving to Collingwood, realistically we couldn't give him more than 1 year and he was right to chase for more elsewhere. Would've liked to see him play a bit more this year but injuries caught up with him.

At any rate, he'll always have 2006.

How many takes do you reckon it took Q Stick to nail that line?

I'll fondly remember his glory days at the club, throwing down the glove and making defenders piss.

I heard he went there with a bit of stubble and by the time he got it right he left with a beard .

Always had a soft spot for Lynchy. I always remember him as being good at keeping his feet in the contest and getting a surprising number of goals after spilling a mark. I'd look up from cursing him and the bugger would have crumbed his own ball and snapped a goal.

A real shame his time at Collingwood didn't go to script.

Depends how you look at it I guess. He got the 2 year contract, a considerable amount of cash compared to what we were offering, and didn't really have to do too much for it, except break his leg:(. If he went mainly for the cash, which I'd say was a huge part of it, then he has done just fine.

I'm sure he would have preferred being on the park and earning his keep. The $$ would have been a nice consolation though!

Not the most talented to wear the Blue and Gold but he never gave up and was a player who willed himself to a AFL career .
He wore his heart on his sleeve and you have yo love that about the big feller.

I remember when he first came on the scene and the big boof headed uncoordinated Neanderthal was running around throwing himself at the contest my Old Man said to me "that kid is going to seriously hurt a player some day the way he plays ... And unfortunately it just may be an Eagle that he hurts."

He leaves us with some great memories .

Who could ever forget the " Not anymore " adds.

And the classic after winning the 2006 Flag
" every kids fu****g dream "

I can't help but reflect in hindsight that we just may have gone back to back if the Big Q Stick had played in the 2005 GF Instead of the injured Gardiner. That's was a Boys Club decision if ever there was one .

QL will always be one of my all time favourite Eagles .

All the best to him in his retirement .
