I'm sorry, I can't answer either of your questions, but I too am planning on running Princes Park and timing myself, just as soon as I can get my lazy self up:).

It is 3.2km's, but obviously you don't have to run the whole thing. You could run half of it, and then cut through either side of the ground.

cheers!

nah will run the whole thing

am quite fit...so am expecting to do it easily, just seeing if anyone has done a time!

Don't ask me mate. Never run the PP track myself. Should be good time of year for a run. Quite alot of Melbourne uni chicks (I mean students) run that track all the time.

I might run PP with a few mates before the hollidays are through.

You'd be lucky to run 32m carrying that beer-fuelled pot :thumbsu::rolleyes:

ok as a measure i did the 3.2 km on the treadmill at the gym tonight

but treadmill is easy

11 minutes 47 seconds

but i dont believe its a true indication as i would probably be slower doing the real thing

see how i go on sat!!

Jesus, even for a treadmill, that's excellent! I might have a bash at it tommorrow before training.

Wow not bad! awesome effort. What speed does your treadmill get up to? Must be faster than the standard 16km/h?

i do on 250 metres per minute over 20 minutes which is 5km distance which i do on a regular basis.

so tonight i just did the 3.2km and see what i could get!!

but tonight i did 15km/h speed for 8 minutes which got me to 2 km's and then kept increasing the speed every minute. got to about 17.8km/h at max which was a sprint for me on the last minute

lucky i didnt slip otherwise i wouldnt be typing this! hehehe

After wanting to do this for ages i had a crack for the first time on sat and i did the full course which i presume would be 3.2km.

Timed myself and did it in 13.30min,will have a few more cracks at it definitly in the summer..hopefuly some more of those uni chicks are out there:D

Anyone done the Tan?
