Was looking through the 'your local club jumper' thread and noticed meros local club. Burnaby. Wearing west coast jumpers.

Got me curious as to what other clubs overseas have AFL gear

To be fair, AFL is completely insignificant over there, but soccer here is among the biggest sports, so it's not like there's a shortage of kits and kit suppliers.

They look like the ones that they sell at the two dollar shop!

To be fair, AFL is completely insignificant over there, but soccer here is among the biggest sports, so it's not like there's a shortage of kits and kit suppliers.

I think it's a fantastic way to spread the gospel. The more our proffessional clubs do this the better the game is.

Also the sponsors must be delighted their logos are going out to some of these places.

I remember years ago looking at the Toronto Eagles' website and seeing their team kitted out in player-issue Ochres. I was very envious.

EDIT: In fact, I found the image. This was the cover image on their website around 2004-2006, showing them winning the 2002 premiership.

2011 - Sydney AFL Premier Division Qualifying Final. Balmain won by a few goals that night. They beat Uni again in the Prelim a couple of weeks later but lost the GF. Then their entire club went down the toilet.
