I hadn’t heard the rumours about Johnson leaving, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Years back I was cycling on Vincent road when a car almost clips my wings, I’ve flipped off in to the gravel, jumped back on and tailed the utility in to APCO, you wouldn’t believe who jumps out. I approach him at the bowser, wouldn’t look me in the eye, things get heated and I suggest to take the conversation to the curb side, wasn’t so lippy now, wheels spinning and he was gone, quickest I’ve seen him move.

They’ll be top two mark my words, blokes have been getting the kms in since early october, they aren’t going to die wondering I’ll tell you that much. The midfields incredible, would mix it with the best vfl clubs.

I actually remember one Christmas Eve at the northo seeing stevie j. Overheard him telling a similar story, was going on about being confronted by one of the most intimidating blokes he had ever seen at an APCO. The fear in his eyes while telling that story still gives me chills.

I’m not sure a Bunnings gazebo and cheap plastic chairs on slippery concrete is up to standard, I’ve seen players slip during rotations.

They were incredibly unlucky last year with their side and injuries. They have added elite talent on top of that and got rid of that distraction. Big Laz will be right calling them favourites in 2024.

We’ve all heard the rumours about house and land packages, Malibu boats, and 100k+ wages for sweeping up job sites bandied about in relation to certain clubs over the years. I can’t imagine letting the boys (and girls) use the pool and sauna at the Gateway for recovery rates much of a mention next to that
