This Sunday, Clarko will be involved in an AFL/VFL match for the 600th time as a Player and Coach against Adelaide and with North's Men never having been successful at Adelaide Oval at all, they have still won against Adelaide in South Australia twice this century (Both times were at Football Park). Let's take a look at the last time North's men defeated Adelaide's Men in South Australia:

  • Social Media was not heard of
  • Australia had won the previous 4 UK Ashes Cricket series'
  • 97% of Smart Technology were not yet present
  • Essendon had finals wins in previous 5 years
  • The current coach of Melbourne was representing Adelaide in that match
  • Richmond's current coach was a Demon
  • The current coach of Adelaide was representing Sydney as a player
  • The current coaches of Essendon, Carlton, Collingwood and Geelong were representing Brisbane as players
  • Most of the current AFL and AFLW players across all clubs were not born
  • AFLW did not exist as didn't Gold Coast and Greater Western Sydney

When? - 2003, Round 21 (Saturday August 23)
Final Scores - Adelaide 10.4 (64)-North Melbourne 9.20 (74).

It's not great but I don't really care. There are far more embarrassing stats out there. This one is just a brow raising novelty.

This game was also round 2 of CrowCarey vs North, but Anthony Stevens wasn't there. Also gives you a sense of how f*cking long ago this was.
