Over the last 20 years what we have seen is that all stadium new builds or upgrades run way over budget
The increase isn’t just between initial concept and detail design, but also after contract execution.
I expect the actual cost to deliver will exceed contract price to deliver

I reckon the wooden roof is a disaster waiting to happen. From the design pictures, it looks as flimsy as hell and likely to disintegrate in the first decent storm. It would be very cool then.It's going to be a fascinating project too, the wooden roof is pretty cool
