I raised my eyebrows when reading about the UK journalist calling Konstas a slogger who won't make it at Test level.

Apparently when you do it in a Pommy uniform you're 'saving Test cricket' and winning the moral Ashes, but when you're in green and gold you're just a hack.

I can't wait to smash those whingeing losers next summer.

Yeah, hilarious. Like every young cricketer it is all in front of him. Will be interesting to see how his career unfolds. But there's clearly skill and dare there.

Konstas won us against India throwing Bumrah off. (And Bumrah missing that last innings due to injury)
I'm not sure if he will be allowed to get off the chain in test matches going forward.
Time will tell.

If he can learn temperament he could well have a very good test career.

First net session in the new year my son (turned 9 only 5 weeks before) was ramping the various dads bowling at him from his second ball. Brought off at least 5 before we finally ripped him, which didn't stop him. (First ball he charged his dad and hit it for what I suspect would have been 4 on the senior ground let alone stage 1. Little sod).
Konstas has already made an indelible impression.

Yeah I was there too after going to Boxing day as well. I really enjoy the party vibe at the games - much less stressful than AFL games.
