Difficult to argue much there.

But Thilthorpe should still be in it somewhere, maybe above Cadman. At least for another month 😂

Tyler Welsh probably not far off joining it.

Top 10 on potential - 21 years or younger. Rank your top 10

1) S.Darcy
2) J. Walter
2) J Treacy
3) J.Amiss
4) A. Cadman
5) C. Dear
6) J. Van Rooyen
7) A. Caminiti
8) M.Owens
9) J. Williams
10) S. Neale

Am I missing anyone ?
Good list, pretty amazing how far Dear has come since mid last year to now. From not being on draft boards to now one of the top young key forwards in the comp.

I am biased but Logan Morris is showing some very good potential, kicked at least a goal in each of his 5 games and looks a very high footy IQ player.

Not on form right now but where I see them ending up from my untrained eye.

Top 5 >

1- Jed Walter
2- Sam Darcy
3- Jye Amiss
4- Jacob Van Rooyen
5- Aaron Cadman

Nah Morris is a real good shout. The goal where he took on 3 tacklers (only 2 got a hand on him) by powering through and taking his time to steady last night was real good - the commentators paid massive disrespect to it. If it had been UGLE-HAGAN, Bontempelli, Charlie or Neale they would not have shut up about it.

Darcy again for mine.

Darcy's dexterity for a 208cm guy is something else. Once he fills out a touch more and can clunk them at their highest point consistently, there isn't a defender in the league who won't struggle in that match up.

Geez the Dogs have lucked out with some F/S and NGA pot luck to get some elite kids in for discounts.

Bulldogs would be scary good if they had a quality coach.
Beveridge isn't utilising his players to their strengths.

Treacy belongs in the top 3

Oh well I’ll assume he kicks 40+ goals this year

Darcy averaging more goals than Amiss did & is, while also playing 2nd ruck (averaging 10 hitouts a game) while also averaging more disposals & contested marks. Plus having a weapon of being coordinated at a ridiculous undefendable height of 208cm.

It’s not a crazy statement for you to get all whiny & salty over.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Darcy is top 3 overall for 21 and under lists for most people.

Naicos would have to be first picked for any rational person, but Darcy & Reid in minor placings, maybe JHF 4th.

Amiss is having an off patch, which players often do in their second season (happened with Serong), but he looked much better last week and will take that confidence with him. He's only 20.

I agree Darcy will be special but I was replying to specifically the quotes that Darcy is “clearly “ no 1
How bout we wait more than 5 seconds before making such definitive statements based on the “vibe” and vic centric media

I don’t give AF what he’s averaging let’s see him kick 40+ goals over the course of this year in his 3rd year then ,if it’s clearly no contest.

Let’s remember too Darcy has the luxury of playing with JUH and naughton, amiss has a bloke (Treacy) who’s still basically a kid himself as his partner

This is Amiss's 3rd year. was drafted 2021
Whilst technically you are correct , the poster in question may be getting confused because jye suffered quite a bad kidney injury that basically limited him to 2 games all year(one of them being a final) in his first year

What he is doing in his first few games is incredible for a scrawny undersized forward. A few more years and he will be viewed as the steal of the '23 draft.

I was just about to post this very article - an amazing come back
