'Twas the Night Before the 2001 Granny
'Twas the night before the granny, when all through the house
not a player was sleeping, nor being aroused.
The dreams were floating all around their heads with care,
for if they were smashed they wouldn't be there.
The coaches were stressing distraught in their beds,
while visions of granny glory danced in their heads.
And Voss in his boxers, Black in a lions cap,
crossing their fingers whilst trying to nap.
When out on the roof there arose the man Plugger,
with no premiership medallion he shouted 'BUGGER'.
Hirdy and Lloydy taking turns to flash,
had finished and so paid each other in cash.
Sean Wellman relaxing glad he's no longer a Crow,
he was surprised what he saw when he looked down below,
he was getting old, perhaps just one more year,
but a voice in his head said give me a beer.
And all of a sudden they all feel asleep,
Though 'twas the next day at the MCG,
The guys were playing and snoring too
