We’ve turned over almost 40% of the list in the last 2 seasons. We haven’t moved off more because we’ve been chasing value. Ie potential Hobbs, Laverde, wright and Sheil trades falling through last offseason.

Scott while having his flaws and hipocricies does have the team developing more professional habits.

just got to give it more time.

What I like about Scott is how he’s been able to play the political games at Essendon and not get fired. Supporting the coach means players are accountable for poor performances rather than the coach which is a welcome change.

I also like that as a coach he’s willing to adapt to information. Try things and if they don’t work he tries something else.

I think there’s 3 types of coaches. Coaches that make teams better. Coaches that can get out of the way of talent and win premierships and coaches that make things worse. I think Scott’s a type 2 coach. Neutral and able to not hinder success if there’s enough there
