Gladly have him back if we can't find a deal for him. Would play every game for us in 2025
Would he under Voss? Sub 3 times this year and with Carlton getting players back would he be a permanent fixture in the team ?

Maybe. But not as an inside mid, which is his best position.

His problem is he is best suited to the Cripps, first touch role. He's not better than Hewett at the defensive stuff, can't spread like Walsh, or distribute like Cerra.

So in terms of midfield composition, he's always getting rotations, but needs to play substantial time elsewhere, which he certainly can do, but isn't his best use.

I think he'll either stay or get a position at a different club for a third round pick

Just a little draft history lesson during trade week.

The pick that Carlton swapped for Kennedy ended up being used by GWS to draft Sam Taylor. Carlton sure would've loved Sam Taylor.

Carlton and their fans spruiking to the AFL world apparently worth a pick in the 20/30s and if they don’t get it they walk away ….

Rest of the AFL world……

🦗 ….. ok bye then 👋
Worry about your own mess.

Panicking tomorrow and spending Pick 10 & 11 on Shai “WTF did we pay that” Bolton

Libba is on his last legs.... but we traded hard to get the pick we took Riley Sanders at last year and he couldn't get a game despite finishing the year off with multiple 35+2 games at VFL level.

I'm not sure why we're looking at him. He's fine but not a desperate need.

he's a decent slowish AFL mid who can play HF or HB too. Even with McRae gone you're one of the (only) teams he's worst off at than Carlton. Baffling.

Sanders is a jet too, looked every bit at the level when he did play AFL

Libba is a huge concern unfortunately and this says to me McRae is likely to leave

Inside bull merry-go-round?

Macrae played mostly high forward / outside mid this year. We often had Treloar and Richards in the centre to try and get legspeed into the team. We gambled on Bramble to get ball speed out of the back half and have been looking to add to pace all over the ground.
The Kennedy news is really surprising. I would have thought Saints or Essendon would be all over him

Yeah, posters on our board reckon it's a done deal too

Very odd indeed
