It appears the Woodville part of the club has been erased. They referred to him now wearing the 'Blue and Gold' of the SA Eagles.

He's playing for Woodville - West Torrens next season. He quit Subiaco just a couple of weeks ago.

As to the Eagles finding him employment, he is a plumber by trade so he could get work if he ran his own business.
Obviously a report in the Perth media, although I'm sure it'll happen one day in Adelaide.Originally posted by Docker_Brat

All I can say about Luke Toia coming to the Eagles is that I'm glad Woodville Oval is around the corner from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Cornes is right. Trust him with what he says.Originally posted by Adelaide Hawk
Graham C ornes went the other way, he kept reporting on 5AA that Toia was playing for Woodville in 2004. I thought it may have just been a mistake, but you never know with Cornes ... he may not be aware that Woodville and West Torrens have merged.
Toia spoke with 2 clubs, W-WT Eagles and Glenelg. He said he chose the Eagles because of their "professional" approach. That probably means they offered him more money.

cornes always calls us woodville, and the stutterer can't get past woodville either.
The media are meant to refer to us in all respects as THE EAGLES. the only place for woodville-west torrens is on the TSH trophy

In my opinion, they ALL should be, given some of the insipid and soft performances in BIG matches over the last few years
