The wording of the AFL's conclusion sure reads like they're asserting it was someone very close to Sayers who did it, rather than some unnamed Moldovan cybercrime warlord.


"Compromised" rather than hacked. No mention of police involvement. The "unwittingly tagged" executive. They're deliberately vague about anything that they've done to investigate, besides conducting interviews. Sure sounds to me like they've left one or two stones unturned.

EDIT: oh yes and I'm surprised the Integrity Unit didn't also sincerely thank Sayers for his immediate action to remove the image.  What a hero. That's certainly not the precise thing you'd expect a guilty person to do in a blind panic.
