Oh by the way, I can confirm that the nickname being related to the size of your coach's manhood is 100% true.

I was chatting to the Vic Metro boys before a Teal Cup match in the early 90's, and David Nietz asked Jason Daniltchenko why John Longmire was called 'Horse' and was it to do with the size of JL's tackle? The answer was in the affirmative. Just keep in mind JD was already playing North ressies at this point...
